The park was placed into ordinance in 1947 and was named after Adelaide M. Windsor, whom I cannot seem to find any info on.  Please send me a note if you have any info on Ms. Windsor. Thanks to reader Tom Herrmann, a link was shared that names Adelaide Windsor (1877-1940) as the founder of the Child Conservation Conference of St. Louis, and a former school in the Boulevard Heights neighborhood was named in her honor (source).
